Round table discussion on “balancing the energy transition: unfolding energy storage technologies in Bulgaria”

Dr. Rumyana Grozeva, a SITRANS partner from our demo-site in Stara Zagora, participated in the Round Table Discussion on "Balancing the Energy Transition: Unfolding Energy Storage Technologies in Bulgaria" organized by the Center for the Study of Democracy.

The event, which took place on April 11, 2024, featured discussions on challenges in regional implementation and incentives for increased business participation. Key speakers included Martin Vladimirov, Director of the Energy and Climate Program at the Center for the Study of Democracy, and Zhivko Todorov, Mayor of the Municipality of Stara Zagora.

Attendees engaged in insightful conversations regarding the future of energy storage technologies in Bulgaria and the importance of sustainable innovations in SMEs. The event concluded with a presentation of results from the Circular Economy Project, highlighting Norwegian support for green innovations.
